My Data is Lagging. How Do I Fix It?

Fix Lagging Data by following these steps:

1) Go to tools database > reset database.

2) Delete your connection to Rithmic and add it back. (Consider getting Futures data from IQfeed. It's faster and more stable, but costs money.)

3) Clear Your Cache

  1. Shut down NinjaTrader.
  2. Open the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > db folder.
  3. Delete the sub-folder named 'cache'.
  4. Restart NinjaTrader and test.

4) Open in Safe Mode

  1. Hold Ctrl and keep holding it while you click on NinjaTrader to open it.
  2. Verify it's in safe mode under help. 
  3. Close and reopen NinjaTrader normally.

(Note: If you have tick refresh on your charts, open your workspace, disconnect and remove it from all charts. Then re-save your workspace. Finally, close workspace, connect to data, and reload.)

If you are using any other platform than NinjaTrader, please contact their support. Ask if they have a plugin available, which you need to use.

5) Ensure you have a computer with at least a 30k benchmark. Watch this video to find out how.
